On April 30th, 2024 (the same day we visited the Merry Cemetery) we visited the Maramureș Village Museum in Sighetu Marmației, Romania. This post will contain mostly pictures, if I think of anything to say about them I will. You are permitted to enter most of the building and you can see the typical things found in these homes when they were lived in. And a photo of my beautiful wife, Adriana.

After leaving Hunedoara we headed for the area of Maramureș, Romania, minus our nephew and his girlfriend. The city we were staying in was Vișeu de Sus and before arriving we all thought that it would be much smaller than it actually is, it’s not a huge city but we were expecting a village.
