The last city we visited on our 2024 trip to Romania was Sighișoara. Sighișoara, Romania was founded by German Saxons, was the home of Vlad The Impaler’s (Dracula) father and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. This was the second trip to Sighișoara for Adriana and myself, the first trip was in 2010 and we stayed in a small hostel while we were there. On this trip we had Dan, Adriana’s brother and sister and their families with us. Unfortunately I did not take many pictures on this trip to the city and the ones that I did take do not do the beautiful city justice.

After walking around the city we had lunch at a restaurant the is located within the old city walls of Sighișoara. It took a long time for our food to be served but it was nice sitting with family and enjoying the atmosphere.

And that’s all from our trip to Romania this year. I might think of some other things to post about from this trip but this is it for now.
